Jordan, The next country to get an American dose of democracy

The next country to get an American dose of democracy is Jordan. Why am I saying this? Because the unholy triangle of Trump, Netanyahu (prime minister of Israel) and Mohammad bin Salman (MBS, crown prince of Saudi Arabia) wants King Abdullah of Jordan to relinquish his authority over the Muslim
and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, including Al-Aqsa mosque, and transfer it to Saudi Arabia. In order to pressurize him into doing this, a systematic campaign has been launched in Jordan whereby he is being painted as corrupt and incompetent (https://www.worldpoliticsreview.com/articles/27620/is-jordan-on-the-verge-of-an-economic-reckoning ). What a surprise, a corrupt and incompetent Arab dictator in this day and age. But the real question is why is Saudi Arabia so interested in acquiring control over Al-Aqsa mosque? The Saudi kings already so proudly use the prefix “Custodians of the two Holy Mosques” with their names. Why do they need a third one? As I stated in my previous post ( http://nadeemchaudhry.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-unholy-trinity-trump-netanyahu.html ) the real objective is reconstruction of Third Temple in Jerusalem and for that to happen masjid Al-Aqsa has to be destroyed. For legal purposes Netanyahu wants to get the official custody of the place. But King Abdullah is stuck between Netanyahu and Jordanians. A significant population of Jordan consists of Palestinians and as such there is sympathy for their cause and Jerusalem. If he directly hands over the control of the holy sites to Israel, that will be met with strong public reaction. The more sneaky and devious path is to hand those over to MBS and then let him do the transfer to Netanyahu. For this treachery he will be handsomely compensated or else American democracy will be knocking on his royal door.

Dear sir, it won't be easy for MBS to take such a bold step. He is not in a position to confront the Muslim world at this stage and he is mindful of that. At present, he is trying to consolidate his power and cannot tread a risky path. There is no doubt about his evil nature but sometimes, you have to be in a strong position to press ahead with your "nefarious" agendas.

Who in the Muslim world, except Turkey and Iran will confront MBS?

Turkey, Iran and its allies---Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. And what about Pakistan? as per my understanding, there will be strong resistance from Pakistan, at least from the "Mullah Party", lethal enough to compel any government here. Besides, the political cost of any such is enormous I mean he cannot do that just to please US and Israel at the expense of many other countries. MBS is seen as a cruel especially after the Khashoggi episode. When I say other countries, it includes Europe as well as the Muslim world. Why not Russia ? After all, Iran, Turkey and Syria are its allies and more importantly it will oppose dominance of US-Israel-Saudi nexus in the Middle East. However, one cannot really deny the fact that it is all about material interests of countries. Anything can happen anywhere.
