Beyond Iran: The Indo-Israeli Pivot and the Looming Threat to Islamabad

In the name of Allah the most Beneficent and Merciful

For the first time in decades, 3 American aircraft carriers are operating at the same time in the region with 15,000 sailors and 200 aircrafts. Is this to show strength to Iran so that they bow down? the recent two months have demonstrated that Iran won’t bow down no matter how many aircraft carriers are brought. If they want to further bomb Iran the existing Arab lackies are providing all the support America needs. Based upon destruction brought upon Iran it is not likely that Iran can pose a threat to Israel for many years to come. So, what is the objective of spending so much more money and raising opposition at home?

It may seem like a crazy idea but based upon my recent article  https://nadeemchaudhry.blogspot.com/2026/04/israel-india-yajooj-and-majooj-gog-and.html It is quite possible that Pakistan is the target. This is perfect time for such an adventure. Hafiz & Co are like a teenager who has been invited to dinner by the most gorgeous girl in class. They cannot believe their lucky stars that they are receiving such praise and attention from abba-ji. What they don’t realize in their delight/delusion is that abba-ji won’t wait a moment to destroy Pakistan. As a true historical analogy consider the fact that during WW-II, Stalin was totally convinced that Germany won’t attack Russia. His delusion was so extreme that many Soviet commanders were explicitly ordered not to return fire, even as their units were being decimated by German artillery and aircraft.

The Zionists are losing public opinion fast, especially among young generation. See the unbelievable election of Zohran Mamdani as mayor of NY. This is happening at such a pace and across the board that even mainstream media pundits like Piers Morgan have to change their stand on Gaza. People like Tucker Carlson are now openly challenging not just the Israeli lobby in America but the Christian Zionists supporting Israel ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GT8E7HTwKM). Add to it the recent position of catholic pope who is the spiritual leader of 1.4 billion people. This shift in public opinion cannot be reversed easily, if at all. The Zionists and their intellectual fathers, the Christian Zionists, now realize that their narrative is fast losing ground. If they have to fulfil their messianic dream of greater Israel and the building of third temple, they have to do it now or they won’t get another chance, ever. The part about greater Israel is complete in reality, all the rulers in what constitute greater Israel are basically governors appointed/approved by Israel. If you have any doubt about it just consider who intercepted the missiles launched by Iran towards Israel. The only missing piece is the building of third temple. For that the time is running out. The collation of shameless sunni/arab leaders in and around middle-east that they have made over the last couple of decades might not hold very long. They have to do it now. The only Muslim country, with the military and public opinion, capable of opposing this venture is Pakistan. So, it is imperative for Israel to take care of Pakistan before taking on this adventure. Their ideological brothers, the Brahmins of India, are too excited about this and would go out of their way to help Israel in this adventure.

Why Zalmay Khalilzad visited Afghanistan?

Combination of two countries China & Israel. China is obvious competitor and is rapidly consolidating her position in Afghanistan, so no surprise there. But what does Israel have to do with it? If it was not for the courageous struggle of Hamas, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan would have recognized Israel by now. The bold action of Hamas threw a spanner in that project. But Israel has not abandoned the project at all and is working at all fronts to achieve her objective. The recent visit of about 10 Pakistanis to Israel is a proof of intention of Pakistani ruling elite ( https://english.aaj.tv/news/330407835/pakistani-delegations-secret-visit-to-israel-claims-israeli-newspaper). For the last several months, our ruling elite links almost every terrorist attack in Pakistan with Afghanistan and claims that American weapons were used in those attacks. The idea is to build the case that American weapons should be taken back from Afghanistan, by force if needed. Senator Irfan Siddiqui of PML-N has been propagating this line of thinking for quite a while now. Our ruling elite thought that this will get them the support of Trump because he wants those weapons back ( https://foreignpolicy.com/2025/02/26/afghanistan-trump-taliban-military-weapons/). If there is a convergence of objective in this case then the question arises as to why did Zalmay Khalilzad not bother to consult or take any Pakistani official with him when he went to Afghanistan? Afterall Pakistan was deeply involved when Trump was negotiating withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan.

Imran Khan, the insurance policy of our establishment.

In the name of Allah the most Beneficent and Merciful

A while back our establishment probably wanted him to die. But now they want him alive probably more than he himself wants to. What changed? Appointments made by Trump. I am not interested in who he nominated as Attorney general or Secretary of health etc, these are important for ordinary Americans but not for us. For my perspective following three are important.

Secretary of state: Marco Rubio, a hawk when it comes to Afghanistan and China. Wants to maintain military presence in Afghanistan to keep an eye and possibly foment trouble in China.

Secretary of defense: Pete Hegseth, served in Iraq and Afghanistan, earned two Bronze stars.

National security adviser: Michael Waltz served multiple tours in Afghanistan over the course of his military career, which spanned several years, cumulatively amounting to significant time in-country as part of his military service.

Look at this triangle and place it next to the fact that India has largely refused to toe the American line regarding confrontation with Russia and China. The only place left for any adventure regarding China is Afghanistan/Pakistan. The problem, from American point of view, is that Afghanistan is now under Taliban rule. So how to dislodge Taliban? Use Pakistan. Who will oppose that in Pakistan? That is where Imran Khan becomes useful. Our establishment will convince Americans that if we release him, he will throw a spanner in their project and as such it is better to keep him in prison. They don’t want Imran Khan dead either because what other wolf there is to threaten Americans with? NS, FR, BZ?

P.S: In the coming weeks and months you will see how Taliban will be labelled as Khawaraj in religious circles especially in Deobandi ecosystem. This is important for mollifying the Deobandis after all Taliban are their intellectual children. The Baralvis don’t like Taliban anyways and will happily join any effort to dislodge them.

Money, Consumerism and our Future

This is a multipart presentation in which I discuss how money is created by banks, how consumerism creates false needs and how these two seemingly isolated aspects of capitalism merge to fool ordinary people to buy things that they don't need with money that they don't have.

Remaining parts of the presentation are as follows:

Part2, Part3 Part4 Part5 Part6 Part7, Part8

Our Establishment, Karl Marx, and Winston Churchill

Every semester I give a presentation in my university titled “Materialism and our Education”. During the presentation I ask my students if they have heard of Karl Marx and almost always it is less than 5% who answer in affirmative, and out of those only one or two know about his ideas about private property and/or Das Kapital. When I ask them about Winston Churchill almost all of them know about him. At first, I was a bit confused about this bias but my confusion was eliminated when I read the English textbook for 12th class. That book contains one full chapter on Winston Churchill, in

Shia Sunni Divide

In the name of Allah the most Beneficent and Merciful

The purpose of this writing is not to “resolve” the Shia-Sunni divide. Religious scholars, very powerful political and military figures, from both sides, in the last 1350 years were unable to achieve this resolution so it is a futile attempt to do so. What we can and must do is to manage it, because if we don’t then the consequences will be devastating. Just look at sectarian based conflicts in Syria (350,000 killed), Iraq (450,000 killed), Yemen (130,000 killed) as examples of what can happen if this jinni is let out of the bottle. Our current situation is very precarious because America is blaming Pakistan for her defeat in Afghanistan, and India under BJP rule, would really want to see Pakistan up in flames. To manage it we need to consider two obvious points. First, we cannot change history. Who ever did what he/she did or said whatever he/she said is not going to change, they are all dead and in the presence of Almighty Allah. It is up to Him to judge them as He sees fit. It is absolutely not our position to pass judgement. Nowhere in Quran or Sunnah we see such demand being made from Muslims. Secondly, from an Islamic eschatology(end times) discussion the arrival of Imam Mehdi is very important. Shia firmly believe he will be for sure from ahl-e-bait but Sunnis are not very sure about him being from ahl-e-bait. But both are sure that when he arrives no Muslim will doubt him, and he will be declared as unanimous leader of Muslims. The question is until he appears what should we do? I think we should adopt following three part plan.

1)    Follow your sect but don't taunt another sect.

2)    Avoid all those maulanas or muftis or zakirs who spread negativity and animosity towards other sects. This can be done very effectively by:

a.     not donating to their organization

b.    not viewing and subscribing to their social media channels like Facebook, Youtube etc. Trust me such people really crave social media attention.

3)    Stop supporting Iran and Saudi Arabia on sectarian basis. In all three earlier mentioned examples both countries supported their respective sectarian based proxies but did not directly fight with each other for a single day. There are reports that Iran sent young Shia boys from Pakistan to fight in Syria and Saudi Arabia hired Sudanese boys to fight in Yemen.

I think if we follow this plan, we or our children have a good chance fighting kufar under the leadership of Imam Mehdi otherwise we have a good chance of killing each other before his arrival.

President of Turkey,

Majority of us, Pakistanis, hold you and Turkey in very high regard. To keep this writing short I won’t go into historical details because the mutual love and affection between our two great nations is as obvious as sun on a clear day. Moreover your stands on different issues regarding Muslim Ummah are of great pride and joy for us. We regard you as defender of Ummah. On a personal level your excellent recitation of Quran, the attire of your wife etc gives us the feeling that Islam holds central position in your personality.

Unfortunately some of your recent statements regarding Afghanistan are causing great anguish to us. We know that as president of Turkey you have to guard national interests of Turkey. It is in this background we understand your position regarding Cyprus, S-400 anti-aircraft missiles, Libya etc. But attempting to get these issues resolved by siding with Americans is not a wise move. Please consider the following:

  1. Taliban did not attack Turkish forces during 20 years of conflict out of respect for Turkey being a Muslim country.
  2. If all the combined power of NATO was not successful in defeating Taliban in 20 years what gives you the confidence that Turkey alone will be able to do it?
  3. Your claim that Taliban are grabbing power by force and should not do that, is very shallow. Power was taken from them 20 years ago by force. When your own military tried to take power from you, what did you do? Did you just sit back? We are glad that you took back what was rightfully yours. Similarly Taliban were ruling Afghanistan when it was forcefully taken from them.
  4. Dostum is a known war criminal, supporting him brings us to a very painful conclusion that deep down your ethnic affiliation override your Islamic affiliation.

If you continue on your stated course of action we are very very afraid that this ethnic motivation will engulf other Muslim states like Turkmenistan in this conflict and it will start a war in which possibly hundreds of thousands of Muslims will die. Forget about Cyprus, S-400 anti-aircraft missiles, Libya etc, think about your own self as a Muslim what future awaits you. On the Day of Judgment all those dead will come with blood dripping from their served heads and ask you why did you kill them? There will be no Turkey, no Cyprus, no oil or gas fields but you and only you, facing all those souls asking for justice. Please think really hard about it before firing the first bullet.

Regards Your brother in Islam

Nadeem Ghafoor Chaudhry

Blasphemy: Don’t be scared of EU, it is a house divided

The recent European Parliament resolution on the blasphemy laws in Pakistan has created quite a scare in some parts of Pakistani business community. They are scared that Pakistan will loose the GSP+ status and that in turn will cause huge unemployment. There is the core religious argument which all religious scholars, with varying degrees of eloquence, have put forward. I am not going to touch that because first of all I am not a religious scholar and secondly as I said it has been already presented. What I am going to present it a political case.

This whole issue originated in France, where in 2006, a publication called Charlie Hebdo ( French for Charlie Weekly) published cartoons of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). The magazine kept on doing such stunts but the whole thing took a radical turn when last year French President Emmanuel Macron jumped in and declared “We will not give up cartoons”. This changed the status of the issue from a magazine to official French policy. Why did he do that? A simplistic answer is that France is going to hold elections in April 2022 and he needs some issue to win, like Modi in India made cow slaughter an issue. Macron may be Modi in some sense but France is not India. So what is the issue?

Covid-19 an Opportunity for Pakistan

You might think that I am some sort of sick capitalist who is looking for opportunity in a pandemic, trust me I am not. If fact I am not a fan of capitalism either. So spare five minutes to go through what I have to say. We in Pakistan are at a unique sweet spot regarding industrialization. Fortunately we have not industrialized and automated to the scale and level as in the western world and that provides us an opportunity not available to the western world. Let me give you a few examples to illustrate my point.

The real reason for American police brutality that no one wants to talk about.

By now you must have seen the picture of George Floyd being choked to death by Minneapolis policeman Derek Chauvin. But I am sure that you have not seen these other four pictures.

In case you are wondering, these are Israeli beasts ( soldiers ) sitting on top of Palestinians. Especially take a closer look at the upper right picture. You can guess that the boy pinned down is just a kid. These Israeli beasts are

Why should Allah take coronavirus away from us?

Why should Allah take this calamity away from us? Just because maulana Tariq Jameel made an emotional prayer on TV, because we give collective azan at 10pm every night etc? Question is what we, as a nation are going to pledge to Allah if HE lifts this calamity from us? I am not asking for interest free economy or implementation of sharia laws etc because I know it is beyond us at the moment. It would be a huge blessing if we can simplify our weddings to a nikha in mosque and a one dish walima. No mehndi, barat, oil etc. Can we, especially our females, make this pledge to Allah that not only we would not arrange such functions but we will not even attend such functions? Can we do this minimum?

America China conflict is not about economics

Famous Harvard University historian Professor Graham Allison introduced the idea of Thucydides Trap to explain the current conflict between America and China. Thucydides is considered to be one of the first, if not the first, historian. In his explanation of war between Sparta and Athens he wrote “What made war inevitable was the growth of Athenian Power and the fear which this caused in Sparta”. In other words war was started by the then resident power, Sparta, out of fear of a rising power Athens, because Spartans were afraid that Athenians would take over as the dominant power. In current scenario you can replace Sparta with America and Athens with China. Professor Graham presents about a dozen historical cases to support his theory of Thucydides Trap. There are other scholars, like Arthur Waldron who refute his theory. But the fact of the matter is that there is an economic war going on between US and China which might lead to actual war. Surely both America and China are fully aware of Thucydides Trap. So what is going on?

Pakistani & Egyptian Armies and the Current Yemen Crisis

Why Saudi Arabia is so hell bent on getting Pakistani army into Yemen instead of Egyptian army? This is a question that has been bothering me for the last several weeks. All the discussion in Pakistan has been that since Saudi Arabia has asked us, so should we or should we not send our army into Yemen. My question is, why SA is not so much interested in Egyptian army? After all the current head of Egypt is an army man, who received 20 billion dollars from SA and other Gulfy friends,

Secularism, Capitalism and our Education System

A few weeks ago two of our students stole a multimedia projector. They were eventually caught and punished. Referring to that incident, the Director of our campus, Dr. M. A. Bodla said, “what are we teaching?” Following article is my response to his question.

Ukraine: Next Jihad in making and why should Pakistan care?

The results of the Crimean referendum planned for March 16th by Putin & Co is a foregone conclusion. It will be decided that Crimea wants to join Russia and Russia will accept Crimea with open arms. What happens after that should be of great interest to us because it will most likely involve some of us. Why I say that?

Merging of Islamic and Pakistan Studies in Institutions of Higher Learning in Pakistan

A move is afoot in all institutes of higher learning to merge Islamic and Pakistan Studies into one course. Currently these two are being taught as two separate courses each being a 3 credit hour course. In the merged scenario there will be one 3 credit hour course. There are several reasons given for this move, I will present some of those reasons that I came across during my discussions with faculty members from different institutes of higher learning. But before I do that I would like to present a possible background/explanation that I think is the driving factor behind this move.

Cloud Computing, baby milk & Nixon Shock

Trust me they are related!
At the end of FIT-2012 (http://www.fit.edu.pk/)  there was a panel discussion in which cloud computing was presented as an excellent option for Pakistan to leap frog the problem of setting up expensive power consuming data centers. The fact that we have load shedding problem in Pakistan was presented as a very important motivating factor for move towards adoption of cloud computing. I have two objections to this solution in the current scenario which I present with historical background.
http://www.babymilkaction.org/pdfs/babykiller.pdf tells how baby milk manufactures dressed their sales girls as nurses who persuaded unsuspecting mothers to abandon mother’s milk in favor of powder milk. Among the reasons given was the inadequate amount of milk that mothers were able to produce. Except for a very small percentage ( in single digit ) majority of mothers are fully capable of producing adequate milk for their babies. But once a baby is hooked up to something other than mother’s milk it is almost impossible to get back to mother’s milk for both the baby and the mother. This means that a single pack of free sample powder milk that the company provided made sure that they have a totally dependent customer for at least one year. Similarly if we get “hooked” on free or very cheap “cloud” now because we cannot produce enough electricity we can rest assure that we will pay a very heavy price in the long run. I am sorry but if any one doubts that then he/she does not understand capitalism.
“In 1944, the Bretton Woods system fixed exchange rates based on the U.S. dollar, which was redeemable for gold by the U.S. government at the price of $35 per ounce. In other words, the U.S. dollar was based on the gold standard. But on August 15, 1971, Nixon issued Executive Order 11615, and unilaterally "closed the gold window", ending convertibility between U.S. dollars and gold.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nixon_Shock This basically meant that the US government told other countries that it is no longer going to give them the gold which legally belonged to them. US being US did what it wanted and got away with it. If we put all of our data ( grades of our students, medical history of our families etc ) in US hands and expect not be exploited at some later point in time than we are fools who do not learn from history.
I would suggest :
The problem of load shedding should be fixed instead of making it as a basis of another much bigger problem.
We partner with friendly/trust worth countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Iran, Egypt etc and build our “cloud” by sharing/replicating resources. This will also solve the problem of under-utilization of resources when it is night in Pakistan.
I am afraid that if we don't take practical steps to build our own cloud than in less than five years time almost all of data will be in US hands. Keep in mind what India does to the flow of our rivers and than imagine what US will do when all of our data ( CT scans, doctor's prescriptions, student grades etc ) will be in US control. At that point our doctor's won't be able to operate because the data needed to operate will be in US. Our universities won't be able to issue transcripts because student grades will be in US.

I hope people are not offended by what I have written.

Thanks & AH
